I have a similar problem with my 97 Savage at 4000 miles. 4-5 is terrible. 3-4 is mildly anoying. I have found that I must keep pressure on the shifter when letting out the clutch to prevent a mis-shift. I used this technique on an old Honda SL350 which had 1-2 shift problems.
